My husband really loves sports. He loves ESPN so much that it is kind of like a soundtrack to our life, constantly playing the background, especially on the weekends. I really like sports too, most of my friends know this, but I’ve always had the belief that men have the strange genetic ability to watch basically any sport on the planet and become interested in it. This theory was proven accurate when I came downstairs on a Saturday morning to find my husband, Paul, watching bull riding (Is that even what you call it?) on ESPN. Yeah, I think quarantine is wearing on us.

Unfortunately, Spring sports as we know it became non-existent by the virus that shall remain unnamed here. We all know that Spring sporting season means two of the most iconic sporting events annually…The Masters and The Kentucky Derby. It doesn’t seem right to spend the first weekend in April without looking at those perfectly green fairways- or the first weekend of May picking out ponies (possibly based on name alone). Two quintessentially Southern events with great food, great fashion, history, and hospitality. Who didn’t tear up when Tiger won in 2019? Who doesn’t dream of donning a fab Derby hat? As it turns out though, coronavirus won’t cancel everything. The powers that be at Augusta National and Churchill Downs have decided to move forward with new dates for a special fall edition of the annual events.

How fun would it be to say that you attended the only FALL Master’s Tournament ever played? And what would be better than a Labor Day weekend on the Bourbon Trail followed by the Kentucky Derby? Tickets are still available.

Insider Tip: for first timers to the Kentucky Derby, think of the tickets opposite as you would a football stadium—the higher level at the Derby, the better view.

Rescheduled dates for The Masters Tournament: November 12-15, 2020

Rescheduled dates for The Kentucky Derby: September 3-5, 2020

Want unprecedented access to these events in 2020? I would love to introduce you to the people who can make it happen.
